Lenovo IdeaCenter A600 All-In-One PC

Lenovo IdeaCenter A600 All-In-One PC: The A600 is billed as a home entertainment computer and comes with a rare motion-sensitive remote similar to the Nintendo Wii remote or Gyration offerings: users can play games or otherwise control the onscreen cursor by gesturing at the PC rather than using a directional pad or mousing on a flat surface. Besides the remote, the A600 comes with a wireless mouse and a unique keyboard that includes a full-sized trackpad for navigating from the couch. The new IdeaCenter is also built directly with home theater in mind and ships with a Dolby-certified 2.1-channel sound system integrated into its chin and Windows Media Center functions as part of the remote; Blu-ray and a TV tuner are both optional. The design is claimed to be the thinnest all-in-one yet and measures one inch thick at its slimmest point while still fitting a 21.5-inch, 1080p native display with a more cinematic 16:9 ratio.

Systems will arrive in the US with a $999 base price; Lenovo hasn’t provided detailed specifications but promises Centrino 2-era Core 2 Duo processors, Wi-Fi and a webcam as stock features. Options should involve an unnamed ATI Radeon HD dedicated video card with 512MB of memory, as much as 4GB of DDR3 memory and as much as 1TB of hard drive space. Lenovo ships the first examples in April.
